Basic Guitar Chords E , F , & G

E Chord - Notes: C, E, G
F Chord - Notes: D, F#, A
A C chord is made up by placing your index , middle , and ring finger all on the 2nd fret. The open a string is the first string to be played when you strum.
A D chord is created by placing your index finger on the A string 2nd fret. The place your index, middle, and ring finger on the 4th fret at seen above.

E Major Scale:

Root C , 3rd E , 5th G

F Major Scale:

Root D, 3rd F#, 5th A

 

G Chord - Notes: G, B, D
A G chord is created by placing your index finger on the A string 2nd fret. The place your index, middle, and ring finger on the 4th fret at seen above.

G Major Scale:
